Individual Quota Limits
Set your own limits Worried that one user might monopolize your entire FTP site storage limit? There is nothing to worry about. FTP Today allows you to set individual disk space quotas on each user or just some users. Lets say you have contracted with FTP Today for 1 GB of total storage. Remember, you have unlimited re-use of this storage (even the same day if you want) to privately deliver files to certain users. By default, any one of your users could upload files totaling up to 1 GB, but you also have to ability to limit each user (by login username) to something less than 1 GB if you want. You might have one customer that needs 500 MB for their files, another user that never needs more than 100 MB, etc. All the individual quotas don't have to add up to 1 GB in this example either. You are only setting a potential limit for a given user at a given time. And all of your users aren't likely to be using the FTP server the same day anyway, but the ability to limit an individual user's disk space might help you prevent inadvertently running out of space. It might also help you prevent one of your users from abusing the FTP space you are providing to him or her.
