Can I distribute files with anonymous FTP?

No. FTP Today's Acceptable Use Policy expressly forbids the use of anonymous FTP or mass distribution of files of any kind. The anonymous FTP function on your FTP site will be disabled and can not be enabled without obtaining a written authorization from FTP Today (rarely given, and at a large price premium to cover potential bandwidth costs).

Dedicated server customers paying $1400 per month or more are the only ones who can use anonymous FTP without special permission.
