FAQ » Can one user see another user's files?

Can one user see another user's files?

Yes, but only if you want them to. Our FlexFTP Site Administrator lets you organize your files in folders called Workspaces, in any way that suits your business. There can be Private Workspaces and Shared Workspaces.

If you want every user to have a Private Workspace, that is usually the default. If you also want to create some Group Workspaces, that is not a problem either. If you want more than one user to be logged in automatically to the same Starting Workspace (home directory), that's easy too! And each user can only then "see" and access the folders you have assinged them to.
