      Over 1 exabyte of data is now stored in the cloud

      Just how much data is actually stored in the cloud? According to a new report from the research firm Nasumi, there is currently over one exabyte worth of files that are currently stored among the many cloud services. Just how much is that? An exabyte is 1,073,741,824 GB. So, In other words: a lot.

      For example, over 75 percent of the files stored in the cloud are less than 10 MB in size.
